provide a reliable service
I appreciate all the work you put into this. Unfortunately the site is relatively unreliable. I don't think I'm alone in saying I'd pay for the service if it were more reliable. Maybe that's just me.
We all have priorities and I'm sure you're no different. You've got a certain following (I've been using for two years now). Maybe offer a free version that only tracks weight for the last three months (or whatever) but then let users pay for more access / features (to offset the costs of dev and hosting).

Stop using BMI, or allow its deprecation in a user's account.
BMI was meant for use in the aggregate and is often non-useful in individual cases. BF% is a much better indicator of fitness. BMI would call Tom Venuto overweight ( http://www.bodybuildingsecrets.com/articles/the_ideal_body_measurements.php )

Add a projected weight loss line
Extrapolate the data out to show an expected weight loss line, ala Traineo Plus.
Basically extend the current trend line so we can see where we'll be in a few months time etc19 votes -

Add Withings WiFi Scale Integration
This was mentioned in the context of open sourcing, but I think it deserves it's own topic.

Integrate with WolframAlpha for tracking calories
WolframAlpha will help you calculate the calories in a meal entered in plain english. I've always wanted to have a good way to track calories, but I'm never happy entering meals using the UIs most applications give you. But Wolfram's plain text search is very interesting. See this example: http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2+slices+wheat+bread+%2B+1+slice+turkey+%2B+1T+mayo+%2B+1T+mustard+%2B+1+slice+provolone

I’m going to start hacking on this over the weekend to see how far I can get. I’ll have some time to work on it next month so I’d like to decide for sure if this is the direction I want to go before then.

Create an iPhone/iPad frontend app
I suspect this crowd may lean Android, but I have iOS devices so I'd probably start there.

Create an Android frontend App
While going to the web site and entering the data is pretty quick, just entering the data into a custom-built application is even more convenient.
Also, this would allow "collecting" your weight data and pushing it to the PD server as soon as you have internet connectivity available (e.g. holidays where you don't have Internet)
The processing could still be managed on the back end.

Explore ways to turn weight tracking into a game
People invest ridiculous amounts of time and energy into things like FarmVille and Mafia Wars and WoW. When I was losing weight the last time I found a few ways to hack my mind to make sticking to my diet and exercise plan pretty easy. I'm intrigued by the possibilities here. If you haven't seen the Epic Win App, check this out: http://www.epicwinapp.com/
How can we leverage our own desire to work as a team to benefit us all? Are there precedents in this space?
